Salt to the Wound

Numbers 33:

  • How heartbreaking and devastating it must have been for the Egyptians to watch their servants leave while they were burying their children! (vs. 4) I don’t know how I would have felt as a Hebrew. Would my mistreatment make me cruel or compassionate?
    • LORD, let me be the latter…by your grace!
