Wash Your Hands…for the Sake of Your Neighbor!

Leviticus 13:

  • Leviticus is a hard book to read for me. Probably in part due to my ignorance because of living in an abundant culture that does not seem to need many of the protections given in this book. While reading chapter 13 today it occurred to me how sad it is that laws made to preserve, cleanse and unite a community, became behaviors that destroyed, diseased and divided a community. I must look at my disease for what it is for the sake of my neighbor and the hope of my healing.
