Nehemiah 11:

• Being a person who has enjoyed the position of leading God’s people in singing, these mentions catch my eye. In the midst of lists of names, Nehemiah pauses to mention singers and the command from the king for them to be provided for. Probably so that they can continue with their work of singing. (vs. 22-23)

LORD, I love that You created us with the capacity to make and enjoy artistic expressions. Help us to wade in the pleasures of art, that we might know what You are like, and overflow with reflecting who You are in the world.
