Psalm 63:

• Vs. 1 – “O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water.”
• Our seeking of God should be the same as our seeking for food and water…even more so (vs. 3). But we are not “in a dry and weary land.” Therefore, this comparison is hard for us to grasp. Most of us have never known a desperation for food and water. Still, we all KNOW without them we die!
  • Lord, help me to seek You more than I seek food and water, more than life! “…your steadfast love is better than life,” (Psalm 63:3)
