Hebrews 4:

• According to the author, the “rest” that God has promised (vs. 1), relates to acting in obedience (vs. 11). The suggested remedy for missing this rest and disobeying is engagement with Scripture (vs. 12-13)

Holy Spirit, since we are so feeble and prone to stray, keep us on your path. Thank you for the gift of your Word. Help us to be guided by it and by you who gave it to us. Keep us humbly and submissively interacting with the Bible; for our good and your glory.
