God’s Unorthodox Ordaining

Leviticus 18:

  • I find it interesting that God condemns what was a key element to the building of Israel through the patriarch Jacob and the sisters (Leah & Rachel) he married (vs. 18 – see Genesis 28-30).
    • This highlights the dangers with interpreting history as principle. God will use (even ordain) anything, but this does not mean that it is virtuous, moral or acceptable. Use caution!
